Birmingham council grants planning approval to town centre scheme
Birmingham council has approved plans for a new 拢70m town centre at Longbridge.
The Longbridge town centre development is a Holder Mathias-designed project that will be delivered as part of a 拢1bn regeneration scheme.
Delivered over three phases, the town centre development will include an 85,000ft2 Sainsbury鈥檚 store, two acre urban park, a 75 bed hotel, 25,000ft2 of offices and a further 80,000ft2 of retail space and restaurants.
The 拢66m Bournville college, which is situated within the town centre site, is near completion and will welcome its first students in September.
