North of England boss Tony Lenehan exits as Julian Daniel takes over as boss of England and Wales
Bovis Lend Lease has restructured its top UK team in a move that will see Tony Lenehan, the head of its north of England business, leave the company, 黑洞社区 can reveal.
The decision was announced in an internal memo last week, which said the hunt for a permanent replacement for former UK chief executive Nick Pollard, was continuing.
Following Lenehan鈥檚 exit, Julian Daniel, formerly head of southern England and Wales, will become executive general manager of England and Wales.
Two sources have told 黑洞社区 that Lenehan鈥檚 exit was due to the fact the Australian-based company was not winning enough work in the north of England to warrant a separate division but the split was amicable.
Gordon Anderson will remain as operations director for Scotland following the move.
Since Dan Labbad took over as chief executive for Lend Lease in Europe in April, there have been a series of changes including the departure of Pollard, which 黑洞社区 revealed in June.
One source close to the process said: 鈥淭his is about taking some of the overhead out of the business but the bigger picture is all about the integration of the UK company into the Lend Lease parent organisation.鈥
When Labbad became chief executive for Europe, Bovis and the other UK businesses, including PFI operation Catalyst, were brought under his control rather than reporting to Australia.
It is understood the company is happy to keep Pollard鈥檚 job open for several months in order for the right candidate to become available.
