Tarmac is constructing two concept homes at the University of Nottingham in order to provide housebuilders and registered social landlords with a blueprint for low-cost, zero-carbon housing
The semi-detached properties will be built to levels four and six of the Code for Sustainable Homes and the aim is to demonstrate that the highest levels of the code can be attained by using traditional masonry products and techniques. The project will use a mix of Tarmac products for the masonry elements of the project. The homes are due to be completed in September.
