Firm building close to 400 rooms
Vinci has won a £27.2m design and build contract to deliver two student accommodation buildings for the University of Exeter.
The contractor will build close to 400 rooms across the two sites.
The first building, Spreytonway, will provide 131 rooms and will be built using a reinforced concrete frame.
Vinci will use lightweight steel frame construction to deliver the 251-room Moberly House job.
The job is part of the university’s wider accommodation programme on its Streatham campus, which will provide approximately 1,580 new student bedrooms.
