Museum of Liverpool and retirement village among contracts totalling 拢108m
Contractor and housebuilder, Galliford Try has won three contracts worth 拢108m including one under its new Environment Agency Framework.
The first contract, worth around 拢41m, is to build the new Museum of Liverpool 鈥� the first new public building developed in Liverpool this century. It will sit on the city鈥檚 waterfront and completion is expected by 2009.
The second project is worth a further 拢37m. Galliford Try will work on a retirement village in Nottingham building 255 apartments and 72 bungalows. Completion for this project is, again, expected by 2009.
The third contact is worth over 拢30m and will provide a 14 storey office block and 8 storey affordable housing building in Reading. Work on the project started in April and is due for completion in January 2009.
