Morgan Sindall has won a 拢7m contract to build a new control tower at Manchester airport.

The 60m structure will be the second tallest in the UK, and is scheduled to complete in 2013.

It will replace the airport鈥檚 existing air traffic centre.

鈥淲e are working closely with Manchester Airports Group鈥檚 in-house team as well as architect CPMG and engineer URS Scott Wilson and are delighted to start on site.鈥
