Architect Daniel Libeskind is to present this year's British Cement Association Berthold Lubetkin Memorial Lecture, sponsored by The Concrete Centre.

Libeskind is an international figure in architectural practice and Urban Design. He is well known for introducing a new critical discourse into architecture. During the lecture he will present key projects to illustrate his relationship with design and the adventure and mystery of architecture. These include the Orion building, London Metropolitan University, Imperial War Museum of the North and the Freedom Tower - the first office tower to be built on the World Trade Center site.

The BCA Berthold Lubetkin Memorial Lecture commemorates Lubetkin's contribution to design and celebrates inspirational works by contemporary designers. It takes place in the Great Hall, Kensington Conference and Events Centre, London, on
