Unexploded WWII explosive found during construction of university campus
An unexploded Second World War bomb has led to the evacuation of a Miller Construction building site in Brighton.
The bomb, discovered by Miller Construction workers, led to the site and surrounding buildings at the University of Brighton to be evacuated by the emergency services.
Miller Construction started work on the £19.3m contract to build an academic campus at the University of Brighton earlier this year. Providing no further bombs are unearthed, work will finish in July 2009.
