Firm appointed to build Hull scheme designed by Croft Goode Architects
Contractor Wates鈥 Living Space arm has won the contract to build a 拢54m extra care housing scheme in Hull for housing association Riverside.
The firm will work in partnership with Riverside, which has been named preferred bidder to build and manage the 300 extra care apartments by the city council.
The design of the scheme by Croft Goode Architects is expected to be finalised by October this year. Construction will start soon after and is due to complete in 2016.

Mick Goode, director of Croft Goode Architects, said: 鈥淲e have worked with the bid team from Riverside and Wates for two years to develop these design proposals to meet the specific care requirements of Hull council.
