Consultant agrees acquisition of building services firm based in the South-east

Consultant WSP Group has announced the acquisition of Charterhouse 黑洞社区 Services for 拢2.4m.

It has agreed to buy the building services and environmental design engineering firm for a cash consideration payable on completion.

Charterhouse鈥檚 unaudited financial results for the year ended 31 March show revenue of about 拢3.8m with pre-tax profit at 拢350,000.

Its gross and net assets are about 拢1.3m and 拢475,000 respectively.

Charterhouse has two offices in the South-east of England.

Commenting on the transaction, Chris Cole, WSP's chief executive officer, said: 鈥淭he acquisition of Charterhouse brings to the group additional staff resources and new clients which will reinforce the services we offer in this important business area.鈥�
