Scheme for Prologis to finish next summer
Winvic is gearing up for the main construction phase of a new 拢29m freight terminal at a logistics park off the M1 in Northamptonshire.
The work is part of an extension to Prologis鈥檚 logistic park (pictured) which includes three new bridges and a new rail line to connect the complex to the nearby West Coast Main Line.
Project engineer RPS Engineering, rail engineer Bonner Rail, bridge engineer Stantec and architect Stephen George & Partners are also on the project team.
The work is being carried out so the centre can receive two dozen 775m-long trains every day from next summer.
Winvic is building the new terminal and has now completed earthworks ahead of the concrete slab being poured later this month.
The firm will also carry out the bridge work
