Built in 1868 the Farmiloe 黑洞社区 has featured several movies, including in Christopher Nolan鈥檚 The Dark Knight Trilogy and Guy Ritchie鈥檚 Sherlock Holmes.
Wates is to undertake the 拢25m revamp of the grade II listed Farmiloe 黑洞社区 in Clerkenwell, London.
The renovation of the former home of lead and glass merchants George Farmiloe & Sons on behalf of Standard Life Investments Pooled Property Pension Fund is expected to complete in autumn 2019.
Designed to provide new speculative office space with ground floor retail units, an adjoining building will also be constructed after the removal of several 1930s and 1950s extensions.
