RLF hires new director as Rapleys buys Aston Rose
Cost consultant RLF has brought in the head of Gleeds’ London residential sector as a director at its London office.
Now called MGAC | RLF, after the 140 year old business was snapped up by North American project and cost manager MGAC last autumn, the firm has recruited Matt Barrington to the role based in its Finsbury Square office.
RLF also has offices in Birmingham, Brighton and Glasgow with its new owner having six offices across the US and Canada. The entire group has 270 staff.
Barrington spent 18 months at Gleeds and before spent 13 years at Turner & Townsend.
Meanwhile, West End property and planning consultant Rapleys has bought 30-year-old London surveyor Aston Rose for an undisclosed sum.
The deal is Rapleys’ biggest in its 72 year history with the 30-strong team due to move into its new owner’s London office at St James’s Street next month.
Rapleys was a new entry into ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø’s most recent Top 150 consultants table with 69 staff.
