Laing O鈥橰ourke and Brookfield among shortlisted firms
Three contractors have been shortlisted to build a 拢300m hospital in Teesside for North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust.
Brookfield Multiplex, Iridium Concesiones de Infraestructuras and Laing O鈥橰ourke have made the final three.
Kevin Oxley, lead director for the new hospital, said: 鈥淲e had many people at the bidder open day in October and 10 organisations submitted pre-qualification questionnaires to be shortlisted for the next stage.
鈥淲e had a number of strong submissions of which Brookfield, Iridium and Laing O鈥橰ourke offered the best technical and financial standing.
鈥淭hese bidders have been invited to work with our doctors, nurses, other health professionals and support staff on the design and delivery of the scheme.鈥�
