Architects and engineers have won places on two frameworks for Gatwick Airport鈥檚 拢1bn investment programme
Atkins, HOK, Jacobs, Morgan Sindall Professional Services and Pascal & Watson have been selected as architectural suppliers.
Arup, Halcrow, Jacobs, Scott Wilson and TPS are the civil engineers chosen by the airport.
As part of Gatwick鈥檚 modernisation programme, projects could include architectural work on the north and south terminals and runway resurfacing, the airport said.
The airport said it is switching to prime contracting, which will 鈥渋nvolve the prime design architect or civil engineer taking full accountability for all aspects of the design, including the provision and co-ordination of specialist sub-consultants as required.鈥
