Tenders back in spring with winner due by November
Lambeth Council in south London is looking for a developer to build up to 450 homes across six sites in the borough as part of a scheme worth £250m.
The combined portfolio called New Homes 6 (NH6) will be made up of at least 35% affordable housing.
Four of the six sites are located between the London Eye and The Oval, with the remaining two near Larkhall Park and another near Brockwell Park.
NH6 was created as part of Lambeth’s New Homes Programme which was launched in March. The initiative aims to deliver a minimum of 500 new affordable homes on council-owned land by 2030.
The deadline for submission of initial tenders is 22 April, with the preferred partner expected to be chosen this November.
Property consultancy Montagu Evans is advising on procurement.
