Scottish Water has awarded two infrastructure frameworks worth a combined 拢700m for the 2015-21 investment period.

Caledonia Water Alliance 鈥 a partnership of Morrison Utility Services and Aeco 鈥 has been appointed water infrastructure alliance partner for the period, worth 拢360m.

BBV Alliance 鈥 a partnership of Black and Veatch and Byzak (part of Amey) 鈥 has been appointed waste water infrastructure alliance partner for the period, worth around 拢340m.

The alliances are working with Scottish Water to procure tier one contractors to help deliver the programme.

Geoff Aitkenhead, Scottish Water鈥檚 director of asset management, said: 鈥淲e had a large number of interested parties keen to work with Scottish Water on our next investment programme.
