New 38-storey mixed-use tower on Portsmouth鈥檚 waterfront is being developed by Bouygues UK鈥檚 development arm
Architect Scott Brownrigg has submitted detailed plans for a new 38-storey mixed-use tower on Portsmouth鈥檚 waterfront.
The scheme, developed by Bouygues UK鈥檚 development arm, involves demolishing the existing redundant twelve-storey office building located at The Hard, Portsmouth, adjacent to the historic naval dockyard and Gunwharf Quays, and replacing it with a mixed-use tower.
The tower will comprise 512-bed student accommodation as well as 329 residential apartments, including top floor penthouses, with retail at the ground floor.
The tower will replace the existing Brunel House, long considered an eyesore on the Portsmouth waterfront.
The scheme is set to be built by contractor Warings, a Bouygues UK subsidiary.
