Contractor predicts long-term social housing projects will exceed 拢1.4bn

Contractor ROK has confirmed that trading for the year to 31 December has been in line with market expectations, boosted by the continuing integration of recent acquisition Tulloch Construction.

In a trading update issued ahead of its preliminary results, Rok said that Tulloch had a confirmed order book of 拢360m. It also has long-term frameworks, principally for social housing projects, totalling over 拢1.4bn.

Rok 黑洞社区 secured 拢560m of social housing framework agreements during 2006, mainly on planned maintenance and refurbishment projects. The statement said that Rok Development had had 鈥渁 very successful year, with good profit progression.鈥�

In its statement, Rok said: 鈥淭he group鈥檚 strategy of becoming the nation鈥檚 local builder is increasingly being recognised.鈥�
