Architect to relinquish positions on Boris Johnson鈥檚 design advisory and Great Spaces panels
Richard Rogers is to step down from his position as one of Boris Johnson鈥檚 advisors on design and public spaces.
The architect announced today that he would relinquish his roles as deputy chair of the London mayor鈥檚 design advisory panel and Great Spaces panel. He will step down from both positions on 14 October.
Johnson thanked Rogers for his help in setting up both panels, which he said were 鈥渃rucial鈥 to improving quality of life for Londoners.
He said: 鈥淔or many years now Richard has played an important role in making London a better place to live, work and visit and I know he will continue to contribute his invaluable experience to that debate.鈥
