Cost consultants are preparing to apply for a framework to build 25 hospitals and 50 health clinics within the next five years.
Circle Healthcare, a private sector developer, is aiming to take on three large QS firms.
It hopes to build up to 25 hospitals of about 拢25m in value, and 50 health clinics between 拢500,000 and 拢5m.
Circle is also looking for framework partners to deliver M&E, structural and civil engineering and main contracting services.
Claire Sneyd, procurement manager, said the company wanted to keep the frameworks small.
She said: 鈥淲e鈥檙e not looking to populate frameworks for any discipline with more than three firms.鈥
Taylor Woodrow has already bagged the first spot on Circle鈥檚 contracting framework, and is building a hospital in Bath designed by Foster + Partners.
The design framework, procured earlier this year, includes Foster, Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, and Hopkins Architects. 黑洞社区 Design Partnership is also designing a 拢50m hospital in Reading.
