Okay, there is a somewhat different legal system in Scotland, but the safety regulations on work at height do still apply in Glasgow, don't they?
Banging sounds in the vacant office below led Chris Ross to peer out of his window 鈥� only to see this scary travesty of acceptable safety practice. 鈥淭he roof is five floors up 鈥� so much for Work at Height Regulations in darkest Glasgow!鈥� he exclaims. 鈥淭he weather is cold and frosty 鈥� ideal conditions for a fall鈥� and it's a long way down.鈥� And we really hope he chap with the chilly scalp is scratching his ear and not talking on a mobile鈥�
Oh, and to allay your concerns, we would like to point out that Chris responsibly contacted the landlord's agents and told them to address the situation 鈥� even before sending the image to us!
