But firm returns to the black after 2014 full-year results

North Midland has posted a 63% drop in pre-tax profit in the first half of 2015.

The listed contractor posted pre-tax profit of 拢136m, down from 拢371m for the first half of 2014.

But the performance represented an improvement on its last reporting period, .

Half-year revenue was up 18% to 拢107.3m, up from 拢91m the previous year.
