Global architect MVRDV has unveiled designs for a new tower in the Polish city of Pozna艅 for investment corporation Sophia Sp. z.o.o.

The office tower with a total surface of 25.000 m虏 will be located at Rondo Kaponiera at the Eastern entrance to the historic city and will feature retail and a panorama restaurant with a proposed one room hotel.

The tower鈥檚 volume follows the maximal volume and height restriction of the site, leading to a shape that differs as it is approached from different sides.

Buro Happold is the engineer, for the scheme, which is to be co-designed by Ultra Architects.

Completion is scheduled for 2014.
