New images have been released as part of the scheme鈥檚 public consultation

More images of new proposals to redevelop east London鈥檚 Bishopsgate Goodsyard site have been revealed by project developers Hammerson and Ballymore.

Plans to regenerate the 4.4ha site in Shoreditch with a 1,300 home scheme featuring PLP Architecture towers of up to 46 storeys were scrapped in 2016, and the practice subsequently walked away from the project.

The new proposals 鈥 created by design team FaulknerBrowns, Buckley Gray Yeoman, Chris Dyson and Spacehub 鈥 will be lower with the tallest building coming in at 29 storeys.

The plans also include a series of seven to 14-storey blocks with up to 250 homes. The site will include 1.4m ft2 of offices along with 175,000ft2  of retail and a 300-bed hotel. A park is planned for the top of the grade II listed Braithwaite Viaduct.

The new images have been released as part of the scheme鈥檚 public consultation process which is being run at Protein Studios at 31 New Inn Yard until Thursday.
