Firm will build 274,000 sq ft mixed-use scheme in Crawley
McLaren Construction has been appointed by developer Land Securities to build a 拢39m mixed-use scheme in Crawley.
The 274,000 sq ft development, designed by Lyons Sleeman Hoare, will include a Morrison鈥檚 superstore, a 110-bed Travelodge and three additional retail units.
Phil Pringle, managing director of McLaren Construction, said: 鈥淭o have secured this project through negotiation is testament to the strength of our long-term relationship with Land Securities.
鈥淪cheduled for completion by the end of 2013, this is a significant scheme in the wider regeneration of Crawley.鈥�
McLaren will initially carry out demolition works, enabling works and asbestos removal at the former Sussex House site
