The project is due to start enabling works in March next year with completion due in 2020
Mace has been confirmed as the pre-construction services provider on Malaysian developer AlloyMtd Group鈥檚 拢500m (GDV) One Crown Place in London.
黑洞社区 revealed in September that Mace was beign lined up for the job and that consultant Gardiner & Theobald had replaced Aecom on the scheme as quantity surveyor.
AlloyMtd said the contractor was chosen because of its experience in building high quality and complex developments.
Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox One Crown Place located on the edge of the City of London will provide two residential towers housing 246 apartments located above a podium.
The plans also include 140,000 sq ft of office space, which is to be housed in two buildings: 120,000 sq ft will be in the new podium building and 20,000 sq ft in 54 Wilson Street, which is to be refurbished.
Meanwhile, the last remaining Georgian terraces on Sun Street that front the scheme are to be restored and retained to provide 22,000 sq ft of space to house a hotel and leisure/restaurant space.
Retail space is to be distributed across the ground floor of all of the buildings.
AlloyMtd expects to sign the main contractor contract in autumn next year and is planning to have the development completed by summer 2020.
Currently the site is being prepared for construction with piling due to start in March 2017.
Consutlant CBRE was appointed by AlloyMtd in 2015 to act as development manager, to sell the site鈥檚 246 private apartments and lease 140,000 sq ft of commercial space.
