Retail building in West End for Bosideng designed by DSDHA and built by McLaren
A distinctive new retail building designed by architect DSDHA and built by contractor McLaren has opened in London鈥檚 West End.
The store, a European flagship for Chinese men鈥檚 fashion retailer Bosideng whose design has been compared to New York鈥檚 Flatiron building, opened its doors last week.
The 拢30 million pound building in South Molton Street, off Oxford Street, was also worked on by Sheffield-based executive architect Ward McHugh.
鈥淎fter years of planning, we鈥檙e delighted that our first overseas flagship store is open,鈥 said Bosideng UK chief executive Wayne Zhu.
DSDHA won planning for the scheme in 2009 for previous developer, Kenmore Capital.
