London-based Farshid Moussavi Architecture has won a competition to design a major residential complex in the La Defense district of Paris.
The 11,430m2 project will house 7,500m2 of residential units, 2,930m2 of student accommodation and 1,000m2 of retail space.
It is part of a wider urban regeneration project that includes a new stadium and hotel.
The practice was formed this summer by Moussavi after her split from Foreign Office Architects co-founder Alejandro Zaera-Polo.
