The future of the academies programme will be discussed by expert speakers including delivery body Partnerships for Schools at ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø's BSEC North schools conference in Liverpool next week.
BSEC North will take place in the city next Monday and Tuesday, providing a timely update to the academies programme after the Conservatives pledged their support for the school model last week.
Speakers will include Colin Howell, academy director at Partnerships for Schools, Amanda Spielman of ARK and Professor Phil Redmond, the creative director of Liverpool Culture Company.
Topics for discussion at the conference include the new £4bn framework for academies and what the future looks like regarding the programme. There will also be updates from Partnerships for Schools on delivery of the £7bn primary capital programme.
