Move comes as housing group undergoes a restructuring

L&Q is dropping its Quadrant Housing moniker as part of the social housing group鈥檚 efforts to rebrand itself.

Quadrant was founded in 2010 as L&Q鈥檚 housebuilding arm and has completed more than a dozen schemes in the past seven years, varying in size from 39 units to 366 units.

In a statement, south east London-based L&Q said Quadrant Construction currently had its own brand identity, but that this was being dropped 鈥渢o bring it in line with the recent rebrand of the L&Q Group, therefore dropping the name Quadrant Construction.

鈥淎t the same time, we are carrying out a restructure to ensure our construction team is fit and ready for our planned future expansion.

鈥淭here are no redundancies planned as part of the internal restructure, indeed this part of our business is earmarked for growth in order to increase output and deliver our ambitious development plans.鈥�

Quadrant, which is headquartered in Stratford, East London, is reported to have around 200 employees.

Last year L&Q reported turnover of 拢720m, up 8.3% on 2015, while it recorded a post-tax surplus of 拢274m, up 27%. In 2016 it had 78,735 units on its books, up 2.5% on the previous year.
