New site in City Gate will provide a ‘strong base’ for firm
Laing O’Rourke is to open a new office in Manchester next month as part of what it calls its “commitment to the north and north west”.
The firm will transfer from its Birley Fields site to the new office in City Gate, which will officially open on 2 October.
Laing O’Rourke’s northern director Tom Higgins said around 100 staff would relocate to the new site, which would also serve as a corporate hub for the multiple local project teams, including the team working on the Manchester Airport Transformation scheme.
“We have a strong order book, with an outstanding pipeline of future projects.
“Our new office provides us with a strong base to support hundreds of people in the field every day, delivering certainty for our clients,” he added.
