Kier has reorganised its facilities management arm by merging Kier Managed Services with Kier 黑洞社区 Services Engineers.
The new division, Kier Facilities Services, will be headed by Colin Hale, who was appointed managing director of KMS in April this year.
The combined division will turn over more than 拢120m and employ 1,200 staff at four offices in London, Cardiff, Sheffield and Basingstoke.
Hale said: 鈥淜FS is equipped to offer a one-stop solution for the whole lifecycle of clients鈥� property requirements, from design and installation of building services to the long-term care and maintenance of their built environment.
The restructure is part of Kier鈥檚 drive to adapt its business to the credit crunch. John Dodds, Kier鈥檚 chief executive, said in May: 鈥淜ier has been roughly this shape for a very long time.鈥�
