Scheme designed by Adjaye Associates and Stride Treglown

ISG has won a 拢25m job to build the new home of Cardiff university鈥檚 schools of maths and computer sciences.

The contractor has been picked to build the 10,000m2 facility which has been designed by Adjaye Associates and Stride Treglown.

Arcadis is acting as project manager with Arup providing structural and building services design. The job is due to finish in 2021.

The new building is part the university鈥檚 拢600m upgrade of its campus which will bring the separately housed schools under one roof.

Last June Bam was appointed to build a student centre designed by architect Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios as part of the wider programme, with work expected to wrap in 2020.

The same month Bouygues secured a 拢122m deal to build the next phase of the university鈥檚 new 拢300m Innovation Campus.
