The 37-storey Aurora tower will be 28m higher than next tallest building in Belfast
HKR Architects has revealed plans for what will become the tallest building in Northern Ireland.
The Aurora mixed-use building on Belfast's Great Victoria Street will be 37 storeys and more than 109m high. It will be 28m taller than the Obel 黑洞社区 currently under construction at Donegall Quay.
Phil Doyle, director at HKR responsible for the project, said: 鈥淭he Aurora building is making a massive contribution towards the ongoing regeneration of Belfast projecting the city back onto the world stage where it belongs.鈥
The plans for the 拢90m development, estimated to create 300 jobs during its two year construction, have been submitted to the planning service.
Doyle added: 鈥淔rom the entrance at the bottom of the building to the beacon on the top of the tower, our design reflects the high quality and high specification living accommodation that expresses penthouse-style quality throughout the tower.鈥
