Hyder acquires transport design consultancy to boost presence in German market
The German branch of Hyder Consulting has made its second acquisition in a month, with the purchase of transport consultant SEIB Ingenieur for 拢1.6m.
Wade: acquisition will expand business in growing German market
SEIB Ingenieur, which specialises in the rail and road sectors had a turnover of 拢6.5m last year and a profit of 拢400.000. The company employs 130 staff, operating in Germany and Austria.
Tim Wade, chief executive of Hyder Consulting, said: 鈥淭his acquisition will help expand our business in a growing German market, and combined with the recent Voigt Ingenieure, acquisition increases our revenue earning capacity outside the UK by approximately 10%.鈥�
The acquisition of SEIB Ingenieur follows that of Voigt Ingenieure last month.
