Scheme being developed by Bouygues’ development arm
HKR Architects has won planning for a new office development in Bristol’s Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone.
Located on Avon Street, the building, which has been called the Anvil, will provide over 83,000 sq ft of grade A office accommodation over seven floors close to the city’s Temple Meads station.
HKR’s design has focused on staff wellbeing and includes an entrance within a landscaped pocket park with seating and cycle storage, and landscaped roof terraces on the top two floors offering panoramic views of the city skyline.
HKR director Geoff Brocklehurst said: “The building has been designed with light open plan floor plates to offer maximum flexibility, which has been proven to enhance staff health and productivity.â€
The scheme is being developed by Linkcity, the property arm of Bouygues and which was previously known as Bouygues Development.
