Consultant to work on 拢99m New Town Program to modernise NASA research centre in Virginia
Consultant Hill International has won a contract to provide construction management services on the $200m (拢99m) New Town Program at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration鈥檚 (NASA) Langley Research Centre in Virginia, US.
The contract was awarded by the US General Services Administration and will be worth around $7 (拢3.4m) to Hill.
Robert Hixon, senior vice president and director of Hill鈥檚 Federal 黑洞社区s Group, said: 鈥淗ill is honoured to have been selected by GSA to manage this critical modernisation project for NASA.鈥
NASA鈥檚 programme involves the design and construction of five or six new buildings, at least one building renovation, and extensive demolition. The buildings include administrative, laboratory and shared-use facilities.
