Mixed-use scheme to provide 74 homes
Grid Architects has submitted plans to overhaul the Sambrook’s Brewery site in south London.
The planning application, which has been lodged with Wandsworth council, the mixed-use development will provide 74 new homes and creative workspace.
The Battersea project, which is being developed by the Cherwell Group, is located on the edge of the Winstanley Estate regeneration scheme.
Of the 74 units, 26 are designated as affordable housing, representing over 35% of the total number on site.
If approved, the 16-storey building will provide 357m2 of commercial office space and 231m2 of creative workspace at ground and basement levels, while the 74 residential units will occupy the upper levels.
There is also a communal garden on the building’s third floor.
