Contractor scores contracts worth 拢36.5m
Contractor Galliford Try has won a series of building jobs in Manchester worth 拢36.5m,
Galliford Try has been appointed by The Carlyle Group and its joint venture partners Nikal and Abstract Securities to build the 拢12.5m second stage of the Soapworks project.
The contract covers the entire second phase of the project and will create 210,000 sq. ft. of Category A office space adjoining the Media City complex in Salford Quays.
It has also won a job from Muse Developments to deliver the 拢10.75m sixth phase of the Smithfield residential project in Salford, which will see the creation of 77 apartments for private sale.
the firm has also won Gary Neville鈥檚 拢13m hotel for supporters of Manchester United opposite the Old Trafford ground.
RED Property Services has appointed Galliford Try to construct the four-star 139-bed hotel Old Trafford Supporters Club hotel, featuring supporters鈥 club facilities, bar and additional retail units.
