Galliford Try and Morgan Sindall have been dumped from North West Construction Hub鈥檚 high-value framework, with the procurement body selecting 13 other firms for the third generation of the 拢1.5bn deal.

The two contractors, who held spots on all lots on the previous version of the framework, were among the losers on the deal.

Laing O鈥橰ourke also took a hit, being demoted to just the least valuable lot despite having held spots on every lot across the previous two versions of the framework.

Kier and John Graham Construction were the only firm to secure spots on all three lots, while Balfour Beatty, Bouygues, Graham and Vinci won spots on the framework for the first time since its inception in 2010.

ISG, who has been on the North West Construction Hub鈥檚 medium-value framework since 2010, also claimed spots on lots one and two of the high-value framework for the first time.

Bam and Wates retained spots on the framework as part of the 拢1.5bn deal.

Projects previously delivered under the high-value framework include Kier鈥檚 拢30m deal to build Chester鈥檚 Storyhouse Theatre (pictured) which was designed by architect Bennetts Associates.
