Firm promises to create a seafront to 鈥渄efine the town for generations to come鈥�

Architect Farrells鈥� masterplan for Folkestone harbour has been given outline planning permission.

The development was approved by Shepway District Council last week.

The design aims to reconnect the town with its seafront with new public spaces and leisure facilities.

John Letherland, partner at Farrells, said it was an 鈥渆xciting blueprint for the future of Folkestone Seafront鈥� and would 鈥渄efine the town for generations to come鈥�.

He added: 鈥淣ow we want to work with the people of Folkestone and other stakeholders to continue to transform the town and to make it a better place to live, work, visit and study.鈥�
