Alumasc’s wall insulation was used for the Moss Bank social housing project in Merseyside
Alumasc’s Swisspan External Wall Insulation (EWI) was specified for the Moss Bank social housing refurbishment project in St Helens, Merseyside. The existing cladding systems were non-structural, meaning the load of the new EWI system had to be directed to the structural stanchions of the properties. The firm claims the Swisspan system is ideally suited to this type of application due to the horizontal galvanized steel rail system that can be mechanically fixed to the structural elements of the building, providing support for the insulation panels.
