Foster's former lieutenant becomes international director of Hamilton

Andrew Miller, who left Foster and Partners last October, joins old colleagues Robin Partington and John Silver at Hamilton, where he will be in charge of developing business overseas.

Miller was one of six directors chosen two years ago to head the six groups that Foster and Partners is divided into. The other directors, Grant Brooker, Mouzhan Majidi, Nigel Dancey, Paul Kalkhoven and Brandon Haw, are still at Fosters.

Partington, who is a director of Hamilton Associates, said Miller's experience in the Far East, where he worked on Foster's Hongkong and Shanghai Bank, would stand him in good stead.

He said: "Andy has been with us for about one month. He will run the international side of Hamilton Associates. We are securing work at the moment in the Far East and Andy is out there looking at that."

"We are targeting Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and also India and Pakistan. We're being very selective."
