Education Funding Agency announces details of bidders day for North-east batch of private finance schools

The government’s schools capital agency has said it will hold a bidders’ day for the North-east batch of private finance schools later this month.

The Education Funding Agency said the bidders days for the North-east private finance batch would be on Wednesday 17 July.

It is the second batch of private finance schools to come to market through the Priority School ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø Programme (PSBP).

The batch comprises 12 schools and is worth around £94m.

The main part of the bidders’ day will take place at one of the schools in the batch - Hetton School - on the afternoon of 17 July, and there will be optional tours of another school - Mandale Mill Primary School - on the morning of 18 July.
