Consultant appoints chartered QS and former Trett Consulting regional director

Consultant EC Harris has appointed Bill McMurray to lead their Contract Solutions team in Scotland.

McMurray joins EC Harris from specialist construction and engineering dispute resolution consultancy, Trett Consulting, where he was a regional director. Prior to this, he held other senior consultancy positions as well as a senior role within one of Europe鈥檚 leading power generation contractors.

McMurray is a chartered QS with experience spanning the energy, process, rail, manufacturing, marine, building and civil engineering industries in both the UK and overseas, and for the last 22 years he has specialized in contract management, contract dispute avoidance and contract dispute resolution.

At EC Harris he will be responsible for growing the firm鈥檚 contract solutions team in Scotland, providing services to clients across all of the company鈥檚 business sectors relating to the avoidance, mitigation and resolution of complex construction and engineering disputes. 

He will also be a sector community leader in the business鈥檚 rapidly growing energy and manufacturing sector where he will be responsible for service delivery to clients in Scotland and Germany.
