Three of the Middle East's largest rafts have been installed at the mixed-use scheme
The eponymous developer of Dubai Pearl has finished its third concrete raft pour on the scheme, at the north tower.
This means that three of the Middle East's largest rafts have been installed at the scheme, on towers one to three.
Contractor Al Habtoor Leighton completed the 11,000m3 raft with a workforce of over 300 people in each shift, over two working days.
The next phase of the project will start this month, with work beginning on the superstructure for towers one and two.
The Dubai Pearl, located opposite Palm Jumeirah Island, will be a pedestrian-friendly, 24-hour living city including a range of commercial, retail, residential and leisure components.
