A Carillion joint venture has won a facilities management deal with the Defence Infrastructure Organisation worth up to 拢200m.
Under the deal, Carillion will work across 87 defence sites across London and the South-east.
Services offered will include catering, retail and leisure and hotel and mess services. The five-year contract will go live in September and will employ over 1,800 people.
Richard Howon, Carillion chief executive, said: 鈥淲e look forward to building on our existing strong relationship with the Defence Infrastructure Organisation, and to working with the DIO and senior military personnel to deliver a range of services that will help to improve the lives of service personnel.鈥
