The local authority has put out a tender to contractors to deliver modular units across school sites in south Wales.
It wants firms to supply, deliver, place and fit out or sell up to nine double demountable classroom units for a period of two years and also connect the units to mains services and provide suitable foundations where necessary.
The sites are:

- St Teilo鈥檚 C/W High School CF23 9DT (3 double units hire period 24 months)
- Ysgol Gynradd Pwll Coch (2 double units hire period 36 months)
- Creigau Primary School CF15 9NN (1 double unit 鈥 purchase)
- Rhydypenau Primary School CF3 5UX (1 double unit 鈥 purchase)
The new school units have to be delivered within three months from the award of the contract and in time for the new academic year in the autumn
