Outsourcing firm acquired health and government divisionsfor 拢15.8m
锘縊utsourcing firm Capita, is to acquire the 340-employee health and government divisions of public sector consultancy Tribal Group for 拢15.8m.
Tribal鈥檚 health and government divisions made a pro forma operating loss of 拢0.9m on a turnover of 拢71.5m in the year to 31 December 2010.
Paul Pindar, Capita鈥檚 chief executive officer, said: 鈥淭he government consulting acquisition will strengthen our proposition for service delivery and technical support across central and local government, including policing, justice and housing.鈥
Capita Symonds, Capita鈥檚 built environment arm, also announced last week that it will shut its architecture office at Goswell Road in London, with the loss of 40 jobs. It employs 300 architects in total.
